Before your organization can start using spend cards, we need to ensure that your KYC (Know Your Customer) information is complete. This helps us comply with legal requirements and enables secure financial transactions on your spend cards.
Follow the steps below to complete the KYC information required by Stripe:
Step 1: Prepare Required Information
To streamline the KYC process, gather the following documents and details ahead of time:
Organization Information:
Legal name of the organization
Tax Identification Number (EIN for US-based entities)
Address (including country and state/province)
Business phone number and email address
Executive/Director Details:
Full name
Date of birth
Address and contact information
Government-issued ID (passport or driver’s license, depending on your location)
Step 2: Access the KYC Form Through Stripe
Set up your account through the invite link.
When you sign-in for the first time, you will be prompted to fill out the KYC form. If you choose not to do this, you can always navigate back to this by going to Your Name > Profile
Follow the steps to create a Stripe account and input the information needed.
Note: Stripe requires this information to prevent fraud and comply with financial regulations. All information is stored securely in compliance with data protection standards.
Step 3: Waiting for Approval
Stripe usually processes KYC submissions within 1-3 business days. During this time:
You may receive requests for additional documentation or clarification.
If you need to update or correct any information, Stripe will provide specific instructions by email.

Once your KYC submission is approved, you’ll receive an email confirmation. At this point, your organization will have full access to the spend cards and can start making transactions.
